On the first day of spring 1994, "Betty Pearl's Sissyboys" was created on the internet. A couple months later we moved Stories to it's own page.
Before that & the modern internet, we were on the usenet (newsgroups) as a gay, tans, & CD group since 1981 -- 40 YEARS AGO (before the internet, we had the usenet).
Who said older people don't know anything about computers? I was poking with a computer that filled an entire room at school 53 years ago.

My first shared, family computer was a 2nd hand Commodore 64, bought around 1984 or so, soon to be sharing my homework table with a PET my dad brought home from work. I had no idea what I was doing, but my friend Dave and I poked those two units until we broke 'em.
I bought my first very own PC, with internet access, in 1996; I had no idea what I was doing, but discovering you during the first couple of years was a highlight.
Since then, I've bought a new one every 5 years or so, until this year; I'm finally doing my own full build, buying all the parts and assembling with hopefully minimal help from my very techie friend.
And I still have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. But it's still fun, and I still drop in to check Betty almost daily. For well over 20 years now.
Cheers, my good lady, to you and yours. You're a stalwart, a fighter, and a true defender of the faith (I remember some of your struggles, both online and in health). You're a long-lived-winner and there are legion of us who won't ever forget it.
Keep on, Betty, keep on!
