Part 12
And with that, the two boys spent the rest of the afternoon trying on different clothes and having fun. Max felt a sense of joy and freedom as he twirled around.
As they continued to try on different outfits, Alex noticed that Max was admiring his painted nails. "Hey, Max," he said, holding out his hand. "Do you want to paint each other's nails?"
Max looked up, surprised. "Really? I've never done that before."
"It's easy," Alex said, smiling. "And it's really fun! You can pick any color you like."
Max nodded, feeling a bit nervous but also excited. He chose a bright purple polish, and Alex carefully painted his nails one by one. As he watched Alex's steady hand, Max realized that painting nails was a lot harder than it looked.
Once they finished, Alex suggested they try some makeup. Max hesitated at first, but then decided to give it a try. Alex had a small makeup kit and he started by applying some powder on Max's face to make it look smooth. Then he applied some blush on his cheeks and some eye shadow to bring out his eyes. Max was amazed at how different he looked.
When it was Max's turn to do Alex's makeup, he was a bit hesitant. He had never done it before and he didn't want to mess it up. But Alex encouraged him and helped him every step of the way. Together, they tried different colors and techniques, and soon they were both covered in glitter and laughing.
As they admired their handiwork, Max realized that he had never felt so free and confident before. He had always been afraid of being judged for his interests and his feminine ways, but with Alex by his side, he felt accepted and loved.
After they finished, Alex went to his toy chest and pulled out two dolls. "Hey Max, I want to show you my dolls," he said with a smile.
Max looked curious, and as Alex handed him the dolls, he saw the love and care with which Alex handled them. The first one was Emily. The other doll was the new addition to his collection that he had received for his birthday, he had named her Rosie.
Max took Rosie in his arms and smiled. "She's beautiful, Alex," he said, admiring her fancy pink dress and her big blue eyes.
Alex beamed with pride. "Thanks, I love my dolls so much. They're my friends and my companions, and they always make me happy."
Max nodded. "I think your dolls are really cool, Alex," Max said, hugging Rosie. "And I think you're really cool too."
Alex grinned from ear to ear, feeling grateful for his friend's acceptance and support. "Thanks, Max," he said, hugging him tightly.
Since they had changed together in the locker room and then in Alex's room, Max had noticed that Alex wasn't wearing regular underwear, but something that looked like a protective undergarment. When he saw the pack of diapers that was sitting in the closet, he couldn't help but be curious and asked Alex about it.
Alex hesitated for a moment, but then decided to trust his friend and opened up about his medical condition. "I have a condition that make me sometimes have accidents during the day or at night. I wear these protective undergarments to avoid any embarrassing situations."
Max nodded, understandingly. "Oh, okay. Thanks for telling me, Alex," he said. "Is it something you're comfortable talking about? I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable."
Alex smiled gratefully. "No, it's okay. I've had this for a while, and I've learned to manage it. It's not something I'm ashamed of or anything. But thanks for asking."
Max nodded again, feeling proud of his friend for being so open and honest. "You're really brave, Alex," he said. "I admire you for that."
Alex blushed a little, feeling touched by Max's words. "Thanks, Max. You're a really good friend," he said, giving him a hug.
Since they were both still wearing their girlish outfits and had their dolls, Max suggested they play mommy and baby. Alex's face lit up with excitement at the idea, and he readily agreed.
First, Max pretended to be the baby, and Alex played the role of the loving mommy. He went in the kitchen and came back with his baby bottle. "Here, you need to drink your milk first," he said, holding out the bottle to Max. "Then we can change your diaper."
Max played along and drank his baba while Alex held him gently. Then Alex led him over to the play mat on the floor, where he pretended to change his diaper.
They both giggled and laughed as they played, fully immersed in their imaginary world.
After a while, they switched roles, and Alex became the baby while Max played the mommy.
When Maria entered the room to tell them it was bath time, she found Max tickling his baby, and Alex giggling uncontrollably.
"Okay, boys," she said, smiling at their playfulness. "It's bath time."
Max and Alex got up and followed her to the bathroom, still carrying their dolls. Maria helped them fill the tub with warm water and bubbles, and the two boys got in together.
When it was time to put on their pajamas, Maria asked Max if he wanted to choose Alex's pajamas while she helped him put on his night diaper. Max eagerly agreed, feeling excited to have a say in what Alex wore.
Maria opened Alex's drawer, revealing an array of colorful pajamas. Max spotted a pair of pink pajamas covered in unicorns and rainbows and immediately knew that was the one he wanted Alex to wear. Maria helped him put it, and Max couldn't help but smile at how cute and happy Alex looked.
Maria then turned to Max and asked if he would like to choose a pair of pajamas for himself. Max hesitated at first. "Can I choose one of Alex's nightgowns?" he asked shyly.
"Of course, dear," she said with a warm smile, happy to see Max feeling comfortable to express himself. Max chose a pink nightgown with a floral pattern and lace trim, and matching slippers. He slipped it on, feeling the softness of the fabric against his skin, and was surprised at how good it felt to wear something different.
As they sat down for dinner with their dolls in their arms, Maria couldn't help but smile at the two boys' playfulness. She saw how happy and comfortable they were, and how easily they could let their guards down and just be themselves.
During dinner, Max and Alex continued to play with their dolls, pretending to feed them and make them talk. They laughed and giggled, lost in their own little world of imagination and play.
Then, Maria suggested that they watch a movie together. The boys eagerly agreed, and snuggled up on the couch with their dolls.
Alex nestled in his mommy's arms, while Max snuggled up in Alex's arms, feeling warm and safe. They watched a classic Disney movie, laughing at the funny parts and singing along to the songs.
As the movie came to an end, the two boys snuggled into Alex's beds, feeling cozy and content in their new pajamas. Maria read them a story about two little girls who went on an adventure together, and Max and Alex snuggled up under the covers, holding their dolls tightly.
As Maria kissed them goodnight and turned off the light, Max whispered to Alex, "Thanks for a great day, Alex. You're the best friend I've ever had."
Alex smiled back at him and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "You're my best friend too, Max," he whispered back. "I'm glad we can be ourselves around each other."
"Max, I have to tell you something," Alex said softly. "I'm in love with a boy at school, Jake. He's so cute and kind, and we have so much fun together." Alex even told him about the dream in which he was dressed as a princess and he was dancing with Jake dressed as a prince.
Max listened attentively, feeling a rush of excitement for his friend. "Wow, that's really cool, Alex," he replied. "Does he like you back?"
Alex nodded, blushing a little. "Yeah, he does. But he says I'm still a little too immature for him. He wants me to become more of a proper teenager first."
Max smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, Alex. You'll get there eventually. And Jake sounds like a really great guy. I'm sure he'll wait for you."
Then Alex asked Max if he felt the same way about anyone. Max replied that he hadn't had any particular feelings for anyone yet, but he thought he might like boys too.
As they fell asleep, they talked about what they liked in a boy. They both found the sporty, confident boys attractive, and they shared their dreams of finding their own "Prince Charming." With the comfort of each other's company, they soon fell asleep.
Part 13
During the next dance class, the boys planned another sleepover for the next weekend. They decided they would do some more dancing, play with their dolls, and have a fashion show where they would dress up in different outfits and show them off to each other. Max also suggested they try some new nail art designs and do some more makeup. Alex loved the idea and even suggested they make some homemade face masks to pamper themselves.
The week passed by quickly and before they knew it, it was time for Max to come over for their sleepover. Alex's mom helped them make the face masks and then they settled in for a fun evening of dancing, fashion shows, and pampering.
Other sleepovers took place. One evening, Alex invited Sarah. She was like a sister to him and she insisted to know his new best friend. The three of them danced, played with dolls, did each other's nails and makeup, and played dress-up. They played babysitter and babies, Sarah was the adult and the two boys her little girls. They also played truth or dare. They took turns asking each other questions or daring each other to do something. Some of the dares were silly, like singing a song in a funny voice, while others were a bit more daring, like sneaking into the kitchen and eating a piece of cake without getting caught.
During the game, they also asked each other personal questions, such as their biggest fears, their favorite memories, and their crushes. Sarah admitted to having a crush on a new boy in her math class, while Alex both confessed his crushes and Max his fear of his parents finding out that he was a sissy. But now, he felt comfortable around his friends.
For an other sleepover, since Maria was working, Jake came to babysit the boys. Max and Alex were so excited! They were chatting with him while he was setting up a board game for them to play. Jake was impressed with how well-behaved the boys were, and he could see how much they enjoyed spending time together.
As they played the board game, Max and Alex couldn't help but steal glances at Jake, who seemed to be having fun too. As the night wore on, Max and Alex began to tire. Jake suggested that they all cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie. Max and Alex eagerly snuggled up to Jake, feeling safe and comforted in his strong arms.
Part 14
Max sat in his room, nervously tapping his foot against the floor. He had been thinking about this moment for days, and he knew it was time to tell his parents the truth about himself. He took a deep breath and gathered his courage.
Slowly, he walked down the hallway and into the living room where his parents were sitting, reading the newspaper. They looked up and smiled at him, but Max couldn't bring himself to return the gesture. His heart was beating so fast he thought it might jump out of his chest.
"Mum, Dad," Max said, "I need to talk to you about something important. Two things actually"
His parents put down the paper and turned their full attention to Max. They could see he was serious, and they knew it must be something significant.
Max took another deep breath and began. "First, I think I like boys... No, I don't think. I do. Mom, Dad, I'm gay."
"Okay..." said his mom.
"That's not all... When I go to Alex's, we play dress up. We put on dresses or skirts, we paint our nails, we do make-up... We play dolls, mommy and baby... . We behave like little girls."
"Okay," his father replied. "And you and Alex are together?"
"No, Alex is not my boyfriend, we are like two girl friends actually. We often talk about the boys we like, real boys, not sissies like us."
His parents were quiet for a moment, and Max felt his stomach drop. He was afraid they might be angry or upset with him. But then his mum spoke up.
"Max, we love you no matter what," she said. "We're proud of you for being brave enough to tell us this."
His dad nodded in agreement. "You can be whoever you want to be, Max. We're here to support you."
Max felt a wave of relief wash over him. He had been so worried about their reaction, but they were being so kind and understanding.
"Thank you," Max said, his voice trembling. "I was really scared to tell you."
His parents wrapped their arms around him in a big hug. "We're here for you, Max," his mum said. "Always."
A few days later, his father surprised him with a gift. Max couldn't believe his eyes when he saw what his dad had left lying on his bed - a beautiful pink princess dress, with very puffy sleeves, sparkly sequins and layers of tulle that flowed like a dream.
Max's dad had a huge smile on his face as he held out the dress to his son. "I thought this would be perfect for you," he said.
Max was overwhelmed with emotion. He had never felt so seen and accepted before. He couldn't believe his dad had gone out of his way to get him such a thoughtful gift.
He took the dress and held it up against his body, admiring the way it shimmered in the light. He felt like a real princess, and he couldn't wait to put it on.
"Thank you, Daddy," Max said, his voice filled with gratitude. "This is the best gift ever."
His dad grinned. "I'm glad you like it, Max. You deserve to feel beautiful and happy, no matter what anyone else says."
Max hugged his daddy tightly, feeling grateful for his love and support. He knew that he was lucky to have such a kind and understanding father, and he promised himself that he would never forget how loved he was.
Later that day, Max put on his new princess dress and twirled around the living room. He looked over at his dad, who was watching him with a huge smile on his face, and they danced together.
After that, Max picked up the phone and called Alex's. He knew he would be thrilled to hear about the gift.
"Hi, Alex! You won't believe what my daddy got me," Max said as soon as Alex picked up the phone.
"What did he get you?" Alex asked, his voice filled with curiosity.
"A beautiful pink princess dress, just like the ones you used to wear at Sarah's house," Max exclaimed.
"That's amazing, Max! I'm so happy for you," Alex said, his voice filled with excitement.
"Thanks, Alex. It feels so good to finally be able to be myself," Max said.
"I know what you mean," Alex replied. "It took me a long time to be comfortable with who I am, too."
Max smiled. "I'm glad we can support each other."
"Always, Max," Alex said. "You're my best friend, and I love you no matter what."
Max felt a surge of happiness in his chest. He knew he was lucky to have such an understanding and loving friend.
"Thanks, Alex. I love you too," Max said.
Max couldn't wait to show his dress to everyone. For his birthday, he decided to organize a princess party, and invited all of his closest friends, they were all girls except Alex.
He made sure to let everyone know that they had to dress up as princesses for the party. His house was transformed into a magical kingdom. His mommy and daddy had decorated it with pink balloons and streamers everywhere, and a giant castle made out of cardboard boxes in the center of the room. They ordered from the bakery a beautiful princess cake, with pink frosting and edible glitter.
As the guests arrived, Max greeted them with a big smile and led them to a room filled with costumes and accessories. There were costume jewelry, sparkly tiaras, and feather boas for everyone to wear.
The girls giggled as they tried on different outfits and posed in front of the mirror, twirling around in their dresses and admiring their reflection. Alex was having at least as much fun, spinning around in his frilly dress and pretending to curtsy like a real princess.
When everyone was dressed up and ready, they sat down at the table for cake and presents. Max felt a surge of happiness as he looked around the room, surrounded by his closest friends, all dressed up like beautiful princesses.
As they sang "Happy Birthday" and blew out the candles on the cake, Max closed his eyes and made a wish - to also meet a prince charming.
