ONE HOUR AGO
As soon as she watched Aunt Claire pull out of the driveway to head over to Pattyâs, Stephanie pulled her car from around the corner and quickly entered the house with two black garment bags. âGet the suitcase and shoeboxes from the trunk of my car,â she told the waiting boys, âwe donât have time to waste.â
They did as she told them and brought in the suitcase. Opening it up, she said, âFirst things firstâpanties!â
Jack and Justin just looked at her dumbfounded. âWhy do we need those?â Justin asked warily, âNo one is going to know what our underwear looks like.â
âYOUâLL know! Theyâll help keep you in the right frame of mind,â she told them, "girls don't wear tighty whities. Now stop wasting time and get moving!â
The boys looked at their panties. They were delicate white satiny panties with a fringe of lace. In keeping with the holiday, the panties were covered in little red and white candy canes and green mistletoe. With some misgivings, they went to the bathroom and changed into their panties. They stepped back out to face their cousin.
âOoohh cute. The tights are next.â She handed each boy a pair of the darling white tights with the green Christmas trees. Jack and Justin were chagrined to see several rows of white frills over the seats of the tights, but they began carefully pulling them on. They rolled them over the toe just like they had practiced earlier in the week. Jack shivered as he adjusted the rows of lace over his panties and watched Justin do the same.
Enjoying herself, Stephanie said, âYou two young ladies look so sweet. I love it! Here are your training bras.â Their training bras matched their panties, and they helped each other fasten them. âYou did a nice job on your nail polish too, girls. Your nails are lovely.â Both teens got pained looks on their faces when Stephanie called them âgirlsâ but dressed as they were, they could hardly protest.
By this point, Caitlin was back on the video chat to take part virtually. She got the call connected just in time to see Jack fastening Justinâs training bra for him. It was so cute.
âNow the dresses,â Caitlin said over the video chat. The boys gawked as Stephanie unzipped the sissyish party dresses with the generous sewn-in petticoats. They hadnât quite expected their outfits to be so⌠elaborate. But there was no turning back now.
âDibs on the green one,â Jack finally said. Justin rolled his eyes and reached for the red party dress. The boys zipped and buttoned each other up, and Stephanie fussed with the ribbon sashes in back until they were just right. The boys felt really unsettled as they adjusted to their bouncy petticoats. The layers of tulle made the skirts stick out charmingly.
Buttoned up snugly in his pretty frock, Justin felt butterflies in his tummy as the tulle grazed his legs.
âDude, you really are pretty,â Jack told his brother, only half joking. He was having similar feelings as his twin. His panties and frilly tights made him feel like such a sissy, but he secretly thought it felt kind of nice.
Blushing, Justin said, âUhh thanks, you too.â
Stephanie and Caitlin couldnât help but notice that the sissy Christmas outfits were having an effect on the twins. They both seemed a little calmer. Standing awkwardly in their velvet party dresses, the twin teens looked surprisingly cute and delicate.
âNow the shoes,â Stephanie said. She watched happily as the two girly boys strapped on their shiny Mary Janes and fastened the fussy little silver buckles. They really looked more and more like two sweet little girls all dolled up for Christmas.
Next, she quickly brushed each boyâs curly hair into a sweet side sweep and fastened the large red and green plaid hairbows securely in place. She gently tugged some curly fringes to loosely dangle over their foreheads and spritzed some hairspray to hold everything in place. For the finishing touch, she applied some lip gloss and just a touch of blush. With a chuckle, she realized that their cheeks were already a little pink and they wouldnât need much. Stepping back to survey her work, she was pleased. Her little cousins looked absolutely adorable.
âOh my goodness, the pair of you are just too precious!â Caitlin exclaimed over the video chat. âMom is going to freak out but sheâs going to love her substitute daughters!â
âOne last thing,â Stephanie said as she handed each boy a little white cardboard box. âThese are some little tokens from Caitlin and me to mark the special day,â The boys opened up the boxes and saw matching delicate little silver necklaces. Each had a Christmas charm hanging from it. Jackâs was a cute little snowman, and Justin got a tiny leaping reindeer. âThey werenât expensive, but I thought they would look cute on you.â The boys shyly helped each other put on their new necklaces and thanked their sister and cousin.
Jack and Justin stood awkwardly. They hadnât really anticipated how girly they would feel. Looking at each other, they realized they didnât look like teenagers at all but much younger girls. Each was amazed at how girlish his twin looked, knowing that he looked the same.
âGive me one last practice curtsey before we head to the car,â Stephanie said. The sissified boys daintily dipped into lovely curtseys and their faces reddened. They could feel the air underneath their skirts as their rustling petticoats tickled their tights-covered thighs. Jack subconsciously tugged to straighten his bra, and Justin noticed how his pink nails glistened in the light.
âTime to go!â Stephanie announced.
âHave fun guys, and remember Iâm counting on you to be extra sweet for Mom,â Caitlin said. She then added more seriously, âYou are the best brothers. Thank you so much for doing this for Mom. I love you!â She was a little emotional as she said goodbye.
âI love you too Caitlin,â the boys said together.
Jack turned to his brother, paused thoughtfully, and said, âLetâs go Sis. Letâs give Mom a Mother-Daughter Tea sheâll never forget.â
Justin smiled, grabbed his brotherâs hand, and said, âOK Sis. If Iâm going to do this, Iâm glad itâs with you.â The festively attired boys followed Stephanie to her car, walking a little more gingerly than usual in their shiny Mary Janes as they click-clacked on the driveway. Anyone watching would see only a pair of cute little girls dressed in their Christmas best.
EPILOGUE
They had a grand time at the Mother-Daughter Christmas Tea. Once Claire got over her shock, she was amazed at how cute and girlish her sons looked. She was also deeply touched that they had gone to all this trouble just to bring a smile to her face. When she realized that Caitlin had orchestrated the whole thing, she had to get her on the phone again briefly to tell her how much she loved and missed her.
It wasnât long before they were all joking and laughing but having a wonderful time. They sang carols and of course had high tea. Jack won a nice door prize which was a Sugar Plum Fairy doll. Justin teased him about it, and said he knew just the spot in their room for it next to Jackâs baseball glove. They even posed for a family Christmas photo with the photographer to mark the occasion, although Claire had to promise not to use it for their family Christmas cards.
The boys got numerous compliments on their pretty outfits all afternoon, and many of the ladies noted how sweet it was for them to dress up so adorably for the Tea. Jack and Justin were a little embarrassed at all the attention they received, but they mostly managed to take it in stride. Many of the little girls were amazed to find out they were boys, but by the end the boys seemed to fit right in with all the other daughtersâjust two more darling little girls celebrating the holiday in style and excited for Christmas.
As they got more comfortable, Jack and Justinâs outgoing personalities returned. Still, they really tried to be sweet daughters for a day and seemed to have much softer edges. Claire couldnât help but notice that both boys seemed to especially enjoy swishing their rustling petticoats every chance they got. All in all, it was a totally unexpected but truly unforgettable afternoon.
As the event concluded, Claire took Jack's and Justinâs hands and they walked out together. Both teens carried a souvenir gift bag from the event with a Christmas ornament, some candy, and other holiday trinkets. Jack's new Sugar Plum Fairy doll was sticking out the top of his bag. Claire found herself hoping her new âdaughtersâ would return for the Christmas Tea next year when Caitlin was back home too. Maybe she could have all her "girls" together then. There was also the Annual Easter Brunch in the spring. Little girls in Easter dresses were so adorable...
