The Sissy Author

Author's note: The following story is in response to the recent topic "Story Board Observation" in the discussion forum. Since I have not been granted access to post/reply in the discussion area, my only avenue to respond to it is HERE! I know this is not the place for it but it's the only place I have. And being a crafty old SOB, I figured I might get away with it more if I wrote it as a story. Readers may think it's a "pity poor me" thing but it's not. My "panties aren't all in a bunch" about it that much. I just needed to reply and this is the only place I can do it in.



"The Sissy Author"



Don was a middle-aged guy, happily married with a family. In 1998, he and his family got their first computer and internet hookup. He marvelled at all that was available on the internet.



Now Don, when he was a young boy, had a fantasy about wearing poufie dresses and petticoats and pleated skirts and other "girlie" stuff. He even put on his sisters' petticoats and skirts in secret, when he could get away with it. He loved the fantasy of a boy being forced, by some female figure, to wear dresses and petticoats and maybe even diapers as a punishment for bad behavior. That fantasy never left him in adulthood.



As an adult with a computer and the internet for the first time, he was amazed to discover lots of websites about "petticoat punishment" or "petticoat discipline" or "petticoated boys". The terms were new to him but described his fantasies perfectly.



Naive as it sounds, he was relieved to find that lots of guys had fantasies like his. He wasn't alone in his "unusual", shall we say, predilection. And there were lots of sites with lots of material and stories and even pictures about it.



Don enjoyed the many sites he found and was an avid reader of their stories and letters and such. For many years he visited them only as a reader, never a writer.



Finally in 2005, he got up the nerve to try his hand at writing a story.



"Betty's Pub" was his favorite site. That was the place to try being an author and not just a reader. He spent a lot of time and effort and care in posting two stories about a thirteen year old boy with long, straight hair who was made by his mother, as a punishment, to wear it in braids and ribbons. He embellished the stories with themes of "sissification" and "babyfication" and other "girlish" humiliations. After all, the storyboard was called the "Sissy & ABDL Storyboard" and it was his understanding that ABDL stood for Adult Baby Diaper Lover. And many, many stories there followed that theme.



He knew, as an avid reader of sissy/ABDL stories, that there were only so many variations on that theme. Scenarios were rehashed in the many different stories by the many different authors. But he still enjoyed them very much and appreciated the work of the writers.



He did his best to add a "newness" to his stories but he knew he probably didn't have a lot of success in that. At least "newbies", like he had been years before, might find them fresh.



In the Spring of 2006, he was busy posting his third story when the storyboard crashed and his work in progress was lost permanently, as well as one of his previous stories. He was frustrated and stopped writing.

But, of course,  he didn't stop visiting and reading at "Betty's Pub".



In late February, 2007, he decided to try writing again. After the 13th part of his new story (well, maybe not all that new) was posted, he read a new topic in the discussion area about the staleness and same old sameness (my words) of many of the stories being written. There was some validity to this point. The writer's intention, and Don believed it, was not criticize. But it still hurt his feelings. There were replies to the topic that agreed with it and didn't agree with it. Maybe he'd just stick to reading stories, he thought.
