That's amazing. Truly.
I bought my first online-capable computer in 1995, and I still have it; it still fires up, too.
I've only owned 5 computers; I've replaced them almost exactly every 5 years. The original now runs Windows 2000; takes about 15 minutes to boot up; can browse the most basic websites, but is rejected by most (the browser on it is 17 years old!); but it's a hoot to turn on and go back in time with.
My present computer is 4 years old and the most solid machine I've ever had... one single big hiccup one day (just turned itself off after freezing) and one single 'blue screen of death' shutdown in four years, and it booted back up just fine after both things. However the video card died (the fan on it, actually; I tried fixing the fan but broke worse when cleaning it) and I use it without (I don't need it, really; this machine just browses the web and operates as a server (with Plex) for my movies/tv shows but its 1.5 terrabite drive only has about 60 gig left... and if I buy a new hard drive, may as well replace the machine.
I doubt I discovered Betty's with that original, still working computer of mine; but, I'm gonna start it up this weekend and see if you show up in histories of the browser (I stopped updating that computer wayyyyy back in 2001 or so). It'll be fun to see if it's got any evidence of me browsing your sites 19 plus years ago!
Congratulations, you wizened lady of online sissydom. Long may you reign!
