Chapter 78. The Missing Key.
All Philipâs struggling seemed to have stretched the webbing somewhat. He was now suspended about a metre off the ground, swaying slightly from side to side, but quite calm and apparently contented. It was quiet in the lair. Nikki was sitting down drinking a coffee. The other girls stood around him watching him and smiling with satisfaction at the success of their plan â well, Jenniferâs plan, really â and occasionally one would whisper something to her neighbour, and they would both start giggling. Matthew was moving from one place to another, still taking pictures. Jill was standing in front of him, staring thoughtfully at him. His pretty red baby pants were now on a level with her face. The waistband of his dress had ridden up, so that there was a glimpse of tummy visible above them. It was so cute! A pang of motherly affection ran through her. She was secretly wishing it was Matthew hanging there. Then she would have him just where she wanted him, and she could start issuing ultimata. But she couldnât see how that could ever happen, unless she â or the girls â could somehow inveigle him into a trap. She filed the thought away under âpendingâ.
The peace didnât last long, however. Philip began to fidget again. He spat out his pacifier.
âJennifer! Jennifer!â
âWhat is it, darling?â
âWanna go to the toilet. I need to come down.â
âOh. I see. Okay, let me unlock your harness. Now, whereâs that key?â
She was searching her pockets, and then went to the table and started turning over things. She even checked the turn-ups of her jeans.
âWhere is it?â
âWhat did you do with it?â asked Nikki, innocently.
âI put it in my pocket. Then when I went out to meet Jill, I put it on the table, just in case it was wanted.â
âDoesnât seem to be there now. Whatâs it look like?â
âYou know, itâs tiny. Silver.â She paused, looking around. âMaybe I took it into the kitchen. Iâll go check.â
âHurry,â said Philip.
âMaybe itâs lost,â said Matthew, gleefully.
âMatthew, donât be nasty,â reprimanded Jill. âPoor Philippa. Itâs not funny.â
âIsnât it?â
The girls started searching the lair, looking on the floor and down the backs of the armchairs. Only Nikki seemed unconcerned. She was casually flicking over the pages of a magazine. Jennifer returned.
âAny luck, Jen?â
âNo. Itâs definitely not in the house. It has to be here somewhere.â
âHow can you have lost it, you idiots?â wailed Philip. âLook under my books. Look underneath the table!â
âWeâre looking everywhere, Philippa, canât you see?â snapped Freida, impatiently. âIt doesnât help, you shouting at us.â
âOh, dear,â said Jill, âI hope you can find it.â But she had the faintest smile on her lips, and she had taken out her phone and was playing with it absent-mindedly.
Philip was becoming more agitated. He knew he could hold on for a while, but if this went on too longâŚ.
âYouâll have to cut the webbing,â he said. âThatâs it. Thereâs no other way.â
âDo you have any idea what that bouncer cost?â said Jennifer. âWe only bought it cos we knew youâd like it. Thereâs no way weâre going to wreck it now.â
âButâŚbutâŚI have to get down!â he complained. âAnd soon!â
They searched every inch, but the key was nowhere to be found. Eventually Jennifer gave up. She looked at the others.
âThatâs it. Itâs not here. I have no idea where it could be.â
Nikki put down her magazine and climbed out of her chair.
âThen weâd better prepare for operation change-the-baby,â she said, blandly.
âNo!â cried Philip. âKeep looking. It must be here somewhere.â
âWeâve looked everywhere,â said Jennifer. âIâm sorry, PhilippaâŚâ
They had gathered in front of Philip in a semi-circle. He was struggling now, trying to squeeze his thighs together, but being thwarted by the thick towelling.
âNo! You canât! Why are you all justâŚstanding there? Go away!â
âItâs all right, Philippa,â soothed Jill. âWeâre here for you. Weâll get you down eventually, donât worry. Lucky you have a nice thick nappy onâŚâ She took a pace back, folded her arms, and surreptitiously aimed her phone camera at the unhappy boy.
He squirmed and fought against it for a few minutes, but then, quite suddenly, relaxed. He emitted a faint sob. No-one spoke.
Then, âIs sheâŚ?â whispered Sadie.
âShh. Listen.â
They held their breath. In the silence they could hear a faint hissing sound. Philipâs chastity device had a little plastic grill on the end, which amplified the sound of him weeing enough for it to be heard through the layers of towelling.
âNoâŚnoâŚâ he groaned.
They waited with suppressed excitement. They had a perfect view. They could see his nappy clearly under the semi-transparent rubber, and as they watched a damp patch appeared and then began to spread rapidly. The inside of his pants started to mist up.
âYes!â murmured Matthew, holding his phone higher.
âItâs a big one,â whispered Desdemona.
It was. Soon the towelling was flooded, heavy with wee. They could hear it trickling out into his pants, and soon they could see a little puddle of it collecting in the crotch.
âJust as well those pants have nice tight legs,â said Jill.
They waited until they were sure he was all done.
âI think sheâs finished,â murmured Sadie, after a minute or so.
âWhy did you all have to watch?â groaned Philip.
There was someone at the door. Nikki went.
âItâs your mum, Jen.â She opened it and let her in. Then she stooped down. âOh, and look! Hereâs the key! It was just outside the door. Thank goodness!â
âRight,â said Jennifer, with a knowing smile.
âHello,â said Samantha. âJill! I wasnât expecting you till tomorrow. I would have come back earlierâŚâ
Jennifer threw Jill an appealing look. Jill understood perfectly.
âI should have told you, Sam. Something came up tomorrow, so I thought weâd come over today and take pot luck.â
âWell, no harm done. Hello, Matthew... Philippa? Why are youâŚâ
âWe were playing babies, mum. Unfortunately Philippaâs had a little accident. But weâre going to let her down, now.â
âOh dear.â
Nikki came over and started unlocking the buckles, while Desdemona held his feet on the ground. He stood there, red-faced and frowning, waiting to be released.
âStraight to the bath for you, young man,â said Samantha. âCould you help him, girls?â
âDonât worry, mum. Weâll take care of everything,â said Jennifer. She put an arm round him.
âCome on, sweetie, letâs get you sorted out, shall we?â
Matthew was grinning, and everyone else had smiles on their faces. Philip wanted to say something, but there was nothing he could say that wouldnât simply provoke mirth. So, as they led him out of the lair, he had to make do with glaring at each one in turn, and trying unsuccessfully to preserve his dignity.
